Please keep in mind that we think pretty things shouldn’t be limited to those who can afford it - that’s why we work with affordable materials. Your jewelry will not tarnish or turn your skin green, but it is NOT solid gold - it’s a layer of gold over hypoallergenic stainless steel. To keep it looking shiny and new, polish your jewelry with a polishing cloth (or a soft cloth) every so often; this removes dirt, sweat, skin, and lotion accumulation. Take your jewelry off before you do any aggressive or strenuous activity that could cause the gold to scratch off. If your jewelry has a brass metal component, brighten it back up with Brasso Metal Polish or ketchup! Store your jewelry away from moisture and sunlight. If you want to take care of your jewelry massively, take it off before entering water and remove before bed.
